Scammers and how to avoid them

(Pic was drawn in Paint Tool SAI) Hello Jammers, today is a special post dedicated to those couple (Million) IDIOTS on Animal Jam. Yep, you guessed it: Scammers. Scammers are people on Animal Jam who like to get a kick out of stealing other people's rares, and often pose as famous bloggers and make it seem like they're truly scammers. All though it's COMPLETELY obvious that one, most of them are MEMBERS,(The famous people) two, they often are newbies, three, the famous bloggers have a lot of achievements, as to the newbie probably only has "Color me rad(!)". So, here are a few tips to avoid these horrible people. One: When you hear somebody yell "Send me stuff I'm new/poor" it's a scam. How? One: If they're new, they wouldn't be a member. Two: They will often lock they're dens. Three: If they're a nonmem or mem, just check they're achievements. And finally, if they were poor, they wouldn't have any rares so pfffff *Shrugs* Two: If somebody says "First accept this trade for your rare then I'll trade you my (insert rare)" then DON'T I repeat DON'T do it. They would most likely run away with the rare anyway. Three: NEVER trade/send rares your not completely sure about. They're not expected to trade back if you change your mind. 4: NEVER trade your beta rares, or any rares for that matter, to people, for another item that isn't a rare. Be they strangers or friends, don't do it. (All though you can trust Migtie101 because I flash traded her my Venus fly trap, and she traded back when I explained I wanted to flash trade.) Be they friends, even if you trust them, they could quickly turn in a moment of (your) weakness, and click accept to a trade, or through Jam-a-gram. Here are a few scamming methods: The birthday scam: You're just minding your own business, walking through Jamaa Township, when you hear somebody yell "Send (For NM, trade) me rares it's my birthday!" and you send/trade them a rare. They would most likely just run off with it. So, if you hear somebody yell it, DON'T trade/send rares. Of course, if it were MY birthday it wouldn't matter be they rares or just regular items. The lion code scam: The Lion Code scam is when you hear somebody yell "Come to my den to be a lion!" so you go, and they say "Send me a rare and I'll tell you" so you send them a rare. It is most likely they will run off with your rares, and almost half the time they are using their lion. The "I'm poor scam": Explained at the top.The decline all trades scam: Somebody says "I decline all trades even worns and beta blankets try me!". You decide they're telling the truth, so you trade them EXACTLY that. They will most likely run away with the rare(s). I have one sentance and one sentance only to all the scammers out there: They are low-life pathetic losers who like getting a kick out of stealing people's rares. What sickens me the most is that they ENJOY it. (Durr, but you know, they ARE scammers, so what do you expect? XP) Be they strangers or friends, NEVER trade your rares. And if you're a scammer reading this, please say sorry to everybody you've scammed and trade/send back all they're rares. It was cruel and un-fair, to steal the people's rares who probably worked months/years on getting. I know it's fun to get cool rares, but it is UN-FAIR and not cool.  Well, that's all for now Jammers! And remember: NEVER trade you're rares to people who seem suspicious. If you see anybody scamming, immidetally report them. And also remember that Scammers make Blossom Spiritstar sad.
